24Hr Comics, Spring 2010 - 02/02/2010
Some of the new 24 hours comics for Spring 2010 are online! We had some good some good results this year, and it was a lot of fun. Thanks to all those who participated! The other comics should be trickling in as they get scanned.

Upcoming Events - 10/17/2009
Here are some things we have planned for the next few weeks:
Haloween Party
Dress up and come to CA during the on October 31st for a fun night of scary drawings, movies, ghost stories, and of course, candy! More details coming soon.
Harvest Mandala
Harvest Mandala is an on-campus food drive that will be filled with fun events, music, and more. CA plans to host some tables on November 4th from 10AM - 6PM. We need volunteers to attend! We plan to draw portraits to raise money as well as host a side table to show children and others how to draw. Come out and join us!

24 Hour Comic Day - 08/25/2009
Starting at 12:00AM on Saturday morning, August 29th, CA will be having a 24 hour comic day. Those participating will attempt to create a complete, standalone comic from scratch. This will be an exercise in both skill and determination, and it will be lots of fun! Make room and be sure to join us.

New Features: Searching and Webcomics - 07/30/2009
The CA website has two new features:
- Search: Go to the Gallery page and you'll find a new search box that will help you find images more easily.
- Webcomics: A link to the new Webcomics page has been added to the Gallery page and our first webcomic, "The Bound" by BroadwayDodge is up and ready to be viewed.
If you find any issues or bugs with either of these features, or you have any ideas as to how they can be improved, please post your suggestions on the CA Forums.

New ImagineFX Workshops - 07/28/2009

New Feature: Categories - 05/15/2009
You can now categorize your images into three general categories: Showcase, Sketch, In-Progress.
These categories will appear to viewers to filter through images, with the default showing all images.
All currently uploaded images have been defaulted to the category 'sketch'. You may change this in your profile settings: Manage Profile -> Update My Portfolio
We encourage everyone to try out this new feature and comment / report bugs on the CA forums.

New Tutorial: Henning Ludvigsen - 05/09/2009
Henning Ludvig's a great digital artist from Norway and has posted up some tutorials on his website here:

There are a LOT of full-blown tutorial write-ups about both digital art and composition in general, and there are also some step-by-step image sequences showing how he made some of his work.
